The SV Kaufungen 07

The SV Kaufungen 07, created on January 1, 2007 through the merger of the two Kaufunger sports clubs TUSPO Niederkaufungen and TSV Oberkaufungen, offers something for everyone with its diverse range of sports. From parent-child gymnastics for our youngest members to popular and competitive sports in a wide variety of areas to senior sports, everything is here under one roof.

Our association is divided into various departments, each of which belongs to the relevant professional association. These departments are represented by their board of directors in the association council, which is headed by the overall board of the association. This is where all divisions meet and discuss current topics and developments. Resolutions on changes to the articles of association etc. are also on the agenda

The divisions offer different sports at different levels. From the classic offer with football, handball, volleyball ... to classic trend sports such as roller sports, hip hop, Zumba or step aerobics to new trends such as world jumping or tabata, there is sure to be something for everyone.

A look at the age structure of the club reveals that every age group is equally represented. About a third of our members are under the age of 18, the second third are adults between 18 and 50 and the last third belongs to the 50 generation.

Ours mostly through the German Olympic Sports Confederation Certified trainers and trainers, who are well equipped through further training and further education, ensure that the level of our offers always remains appropriately high. Countless helpers support the divisions and thus the association in all matters.

Due to the abundance of the offer, the SV Kaufungen 07 is dependent on a large number of sports facilities - especially in the winter months, when the outdoor areas cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent.

The guiding principle "sports club for everyone" characterizes the SV Kaufungen 07. Converted to the number of inhabitants, about every fifth Kaufunger is currently a member of our club. The youngest member is just one year old, the oldest proud 92 years!
